Please read these terms carefully before booking. By proceeding with a booking you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and the risk acknowledgement below.

Photography Terms & Conditions

Applicable to all bookings with Essex Pageant Headshots

A non-refundable booking fee is required to secure your session date and time. No booking is confirmed until payment is received.

The remaining balance must be paid prior to or on the day of the session, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Session times are approximate and may vary depending on circumstances on the day.

Clients are responsible for arriving on time. Late arrival may reduce session time.

Images are selected and edited at the photographer’s discretion in line with their portfolio style.

RAW/unedited images are not provided.

Final edited images will be delivered within the agreed timeframe (typically 10–14 working days).

Images are for personal use only unless otherwise agreed. Commercial use requires written permission.

The photographer retains copyright of all images.

The photographer may use images for portfolio, marketing, and promotional purposes unless the client requests otherwise in writing before the session.

In the unlikely event of illness, equipment failure, or circumstances beyond control, liability is limited to a full refund of any payments made.

It is the client’s responsibility to ensure all participants behave safely during the session.

Risk Acknowledgement & Safety Agreement

Please read carefully \u2014 this applies to all sessions including location shoots

The client understands that photography sessions may involve the use of lighting equipment, props, and location environments that carry inherent risks.

The client agrees to follow all instructions given by the photographer to ensure safety.

The client accepts responsibility for their own safety and the safety of any children or individuals under their care.

The photographer is not liable for injuries, accidents, or loss/damage to personal property during the session, except where caused by proven negligence.

Clients must inform the photographer in advance of any medical conditions, disabilities, or concerns that may affect participation.

Outdoor sessions are subject to environmental risks (uneven ground, weather, public areas, etc.), which the client accepts.
7
The client agrees that participation is voluntary and at their own risk.
